In Clayridge attention can be deadly, and discovering the location of a valuable relic draws the attention of more than just scholars…
Kit Edison’s wife has been abducted. The famous archeologist doesn’t know who took her, but he knows what they want in exchange–a mythical relic rumored to contain a power so great it can make your heart’s desire come true. It can’t fall into the wrong hands, and whoever took his wife definitely has evil intentions. In order to save her, he turns to vampire, Samara Linwood, the one woman who just might be able to help him. But her aid comes at a cost–one he might not be able to bear.
Samara Linwood has never been so unhappy. Banned from blood play with mortals, she’s intrigued when Kit comes to her with a bargain–her help to save his wife in exchange for his mortal body, legally hers to do with as she pleases. Even sweeter? He’s after the Linwood Summoning Stone, the one she’s been searching for since she was young.
Her deepest desire is something so impossible she’s never dared tell a soul, but now, if she can get her hands on the Summoning Stones, it’ll be within her grasp. Kit might just be the key to changing her life forever.
